The Wallace Chamber of Commerce is the front door to the business community, and was organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, commercial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Wallace area. We encourage and work for the growth of existing industries and businesses, along with giving all proper assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in the Wallace area. We encourage and support all activities believed to be beneficial to the community and area. The Chamber also works closely with Wallace 100 Committee, Wallace Revitalization Association, Wallace Beautification Committee and the Town of Wallace, to further advance the success and growth of Wallace.

Marketing opportunities exist for your business! The Chamber office is inundated with calls for information on the local businesses and we provide a referral service for all of our members.

Currently the Wallace Chamber of Commerce sponsors annually one of the largest Christmas Parades in the southeast, provides Santa Claus, the Santa House, sponsors “Christmas At Twilight”, a downtown festival, a fundraiser Christmas ornament featuring a local landmark, publishes a Chamber Member Directory, a monthly newsletter, sponsors an annual Chamber Golf Classic and maintains a website (www.wallacechamber.com), with free links and listing of contact information for easy access to our Chamber Members. The Chamber also provides support to members by assisting with open house, ribbon cuttings, ground breaking or grand opening events.

The Wallace Chamber Of Commerce membership meets every second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m., at the Western Sizzlin Steak House and also sponsors “Chamber After Hours” events. As well as news of the Chamber and other community events, very informative guests speak on topics of interest to the membership. Membership dues cover the cost of the meal each month for one person from each business. A guest may be brought once a year, but feel free to bring someone who is interested in joining to any meeting or event.
